Study Portal privacy policy

Last updated 25 October 2026.

Who uses it

Study Portal is a private website. It has no public users and no sign-up; sign-in is by invitation only.

What Google data it reads

With the account owner's permission, Study Portal reads Gmail messages sent from one email domain the owner has chosen, using read-only access (the gmail.readonly permission). It never sends, deletes, labels or changes any email, and it ignores every message from any other sender.

What it does with it

The subject, date and text of those emails are stored in the site's private database so that the dates in them (tests, deadlines, events) can be put on the site's study calendar. An AI assistant may read one of those emails for that one purpose, finding its dates.

What it never does

The data is never sold, never shared with anyone other than the site's authorised users, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.

Study Portal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where it is kept, and removing it

The stored emails are kept in the site's private Cloudflare database, behind a sign-in. The account owner can withdraw Study Portal's access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can ask for the stored copies to be deleted.
